Breakfast of Adana - Kazım Büfe
Want to visit the most famous restaurant in Adana? Of course you do! Not only is it famous, but it is delicious, fresh, and in my opinion quite healthy!
While visiting Kazım Büfe we partook of the classic muzlu süt (banana milk) which is the most popular menu item and enjoyed its creamy and fresh taste. When you order it, or another of the milk drinks, be aware one order comes with a large and medium glass filled to the brim with the delightful drink.
Imagine yourself sipping a cold, thick milkshake made from locally produced milk frozen with sugar, which has just been mixed with fresh bananas before your very eyes. Then you will better understand the delicious experience which awaits you.
You can enjoy the goodness produced at Kazım Büfe either on-the-go or in the shaded and air-conditioned area next to the storefront.
Located in the heart of the Seyhan district of Adana it is a popular destination for shoppers, or those wanting a chilled fruit drink throughout the day.
You can order a plethora of different toasted sandwiches, including the karışık tost (mixed toast) shown in the photos.
The warm and cheesy gooey goodness surrounding the perfectly seasoned meat makes you want to order another so you can savor it even more.
We couldn’t help but also enjoy freshly squeezed orange juice during our stop. It was fascinating to witness the juice barista deftly slice the oranges with two clean strokes, allowing for the smoothest extraction of juice from a fruit I’ve ever seen. Fluid and expertly timed movements spun the orange press, filling the glass to where it could hold no more.
Everything is made to order from fresh ingredients stored in see-through refrigerators. You can witness the whole process from beginning to end in the clean and open-concept kitchen.
In 1938 the original Kazım Büfe stand was located on the corner of a nearby park. It has now moved to its current location, and ever since its beginning it has steadily become a consistent provider of delicious foods to every customer who visits! Check it out whenever you are in Adana.
TO OUR FRIENDS IN THE WEST, KEEP LOOKING EAST!
