Antioch: Review of the Nest Boutique Hotel

Antioch, like most cities in Turkey, has plenty of small and inviting places to stay during your visit. We opted to stay at the Nest Boutique Hotel, a new and up-and-coming spot in Antioch. Our experience at this hotel was idyllic. It is situated conveniently inside the city while maintaining a tranquil and homey feel.

Located just behind Antioch’s famous Kurtuluş (Victory) Street, this hotel used to be a historical Antioch home that was built in 1895. The hotel provides a traditional Turkish breakfast spread, including fruits, vegetables, cured meats, spices, eggs, various kinds of cheese, bread, fruit preserves, honey, and sweet butter. The room features included air conditioning, a smart television, and free wifi. I think my favorite part of my stay at the Nest Boutique Hotel was the private balcony outside my room. It was the perfect place to read and enjoy the breeze in the shade.

The overall environment was classic, simple, and perfectly understated. The workers at the hotel were so kind and accommodating. They even kept our bags for us after we checked out, so we could sightsee without carrying our belongings. It further evidenced how much the people of Turkey value hospitality and warmness to everyone they encounter. All in all, the Nest Boutique Hotel provided a convenient and peaceful stay during our time in Antioch. If you ever find yourself in the beautiful city of Antakya, you should definitely consider booking a few nights at the Nest Boutique Hotel!

To our friends in the West, keep looking East!
